Frequently asked Questions 

1. What if I arrive after the office is closed?
• At the end of the day anyone who has not checked in already will be sent an SMS (to Australian phone numbers only) with instructions to enter    into our key safe next to the reception door. In the safe will be an envelope with your name on it with keys to your accommodation and a map      with your site circled. Please come into reception the following day to complete your check-in.

2. How many people are included in the quoted room/site tariff?
• Up to 2 people

3. Do you allow pets? 
• Only on allocated pet ensuite powered sites and selected Budget Cabins.

4. What is an external ensuite?
• Your shower, toilet and vanity are not in the cabin. They are in an ensuite bathroom beside the cabin, locked for your private use.

5. What is an ensuite site?
• Ensuite sites are for guests with their own caravan, camper van or camper trailer. They have a cement annex pad and your own private                ensuite.

6. Do you have Internet access?
• Yes. We have free Hotspot wireless internet access around the office area and in the Recreation Room only.

7. How far are you from the theme parks?
• We are a 30 minute drive south of Wet’n’Wild, Movieworld and Outback Spectacular. Dreamworld and Whitewater World are about a 40 minute    drive and Seaworld is about a 45 minute drive. Currumbin Sanctuary and Fleay’s Wildlife Park are just a 10 minute drive north. 

8. Are you near the beach or the river?
• We are a 5 minute drive from Kirra Beach, and 1 block from Terranora Creek (about a 5 minute walk). For boaters, there is a boat ramp                approximately 1 km along Kennedy Drive.

9. How close are you to the Gold Coast Airport?
• Gold Coast Airport is a 5 minute drive.

10. How close is public transport?
• Public transport is available near the park entrance, with daily bus services to the Gold Coast, Theme Parks, Tweed Heads, and Kingscliff.

11. Do you have activities for the kids during school holidays?
• Our playground is for younger children. Our swimming pool is open all year round. Recreation room is open 8am - 8pm. The kids will love watching our Rainbow Lorikeets at the 7.45am feed time each morning.

12. What do you have for adults?
• Adults can relax or cool off at the pool. We have a BBQ and camp kitchen area, perfect for al-fresco dining.

13. How close are the Clubs?
• Twin Towns Services Club, Seagulls Club and several other sporting clubs, offering dining and entertainment, are a short drive from the park. Seagulls Club courtesy buses will pick you up at the front of the park and drop you back.

14. Are you environmentally friendly?
• Yes. We hold a Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW Gold Gumnut Award. We are continually working on our environmental initiatives.

15. Are you accredited with any industry bodies?
• Yes. We are accredited with the Caravan Industry Association of Australia. The Caravan Industry Association of Australia National Accreditation Program is an industry specific scheme to improve business standards for tourism businesses.

16. What is your Cancellation Policy and Terms & Conditions?
• All bookings are paid in full either 7 or 30 days prior to arrival - please refer to Cancellation Policy below;
• No Refunds are given after check-in should you cut short your holiday;
• Cabins, Villas and Ensuites are serviced on departure only;
• Linen is included for Cabins/Villas, change of linen during your stay at additional cost;
• Cabin/Site preferences are subject to change until check-in;
• All powered sites/powered ensuite sites are sites only, guests to provide their own caravan.
• Pets permitted on designated ensuite sites only;
• Parking is provided for ONE vehicle per site. Additional cars, trailers or boats can only be parked in the storage area where a $25 storage fee applies for length of stay.

Cancellation Policy:
• OFF PEAK - free of charge prior to 7 days before arrival date. Within 7 days of arrival date - NO REFUND.
• PEAK - free of charge prior to 30 days before arrival date. Within 30 days of arrival date - NO REFUND
• All cancellations must be in writing;
• "No shows" without written cancellation - NO REFUND.

Check-in/Check-out times:
• Check-in time from 2pm and check-out 10am NSW time. Variation to check-in/check-out times by prior arrangement with office staff;
• Should you arrive after hours, you will be sent an SMS code to access our night safe located at the office door, in your envelope there will be your keys, and a map showing your accommodation area. We ask that you come to the office on the following morning to register.

WE STRONGLY ADVISE THAT YOU TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE TO COVER YOURSELF FOR THOSE UNEXPECTED REASONS YOU NEED TO CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY.
